Question:

Good/easy food to bring to party?

I'm going to a drinking party tonight, and the host said it'd be nice if we bring snacks. Any ideas for good or easy snacks to pick up?

I may also resort to baking cookies or something, any good oatmeal cookie recipes?

If I am cooking something, it better be worth the time and effort.

  1. just bring crisps.

  2. Crawfish Cornbread! I use to make this before going vegan. This stuff rocks for parties!

  3. Make these crackers, they're great with beer:

2 packages oyster crackers; 1 c. vegetable oil; 1 envelope ranch dressing mix, 1 T garlic powder; 2 T dill weed.

Pour crackers in a large bowl & set aside. Whisk reaining ingredients together, pour over crackers, and stir frequently fo an hour.

EASIER version: Mix 1 c oil with 1 envelope FIESTA RANCH seasoning, mix as above. These are a bit zestier, great for making you thirsty.

  4. You can make tuna salad. Its easy and very yummy

Take elbow Macaronie noodles tune mayo relish and celery.

For each cup of macaroni you need one can of tuna.

Cook the noodles first and let them cool. Then add in the cans of tuna. The desired amount of mayonnaise and relish then about a half a stick of celery for cup of noodles. To give it more flavor add some crushed black pepper or sundried tomoatoes. You can also add in pine nuts.

Something else that is also really good.

Take penne noodles, spaghetti sauce, and a italian sausage/ground beef mix and mozerrella cheese and make a sorf ot casserole out of it.

For each pound of ground beef you nedd 2-3 medium sized italian sausages. cook them seperate and then mix them together.

Cook the noodles and layer them over the bottom of a glass pan. Put a layer of sauce over the noodles then a layer od the meat some more sauce and top it off with tonssss of mozerella cheese. bake at 350 until warm all thr way through and the cheese is melted

Hope it helps. These are my fave party recipes
