  1. Amen, Skiowl1 said it all, I second that; let a two year old be just that; 2 years old.

  2. www.pbs.com

    www.nick.com

  3. My child loves books and nursery rhymes.  I use this website www.wigglegigglelearn.com for my own structure of day to day activities for him. There is also a great section of the website with nursery rhymes that my child loves.  If you are looking for songs/etc - this may be good for your child too.

  4. pbs.com

    nickjr.com

    noggin.com

    playhousedisney.com

I have a 2 year old brother and when we go on long trips, he uses one of the laptops and goes on these sites. The best  thing to do is for you to teach him though. my brother isn't allowed to go on the internet unless we are flying.

  5. the cbbc website

  6. www.cartoonnetwork.com

    www.playhousedisney.com

  7. Surprisingly, the best internet site is provided by God! As it is, in the years to come, the two year old has to sit infront of the computer like all of us and be a dumbo! Till then let him enjoy the bounties of nature. Let him acquaint himself to the nature. the squirrels, the birds, the grass, the trees, swaying flowers, all will be the best teaching experiences for him/her.

Hope this is of some help.

  8. dont take the mean people seriously. Good sites to get info for a child that is 2 maybe would be a better way of wording what you are looking for. I love the site www.starfall.com

  9. This is an age where you should not be focusing in on education thru the computer, but if you just can't help yourself pbs.org is a good one. At this age you should be fostering their imagination. Let them get their hands into messy fun things- helping to make cookies or cook in the kitchen, play outside in the sand and dirt, be a kid, play with their toys, games and legos are great, read, read, and read some more, take them to the library, take them to the zoo, etc. Let them experience with messy things like pudding painting, shaving cream, etc.

Just let your child be a child as long as you can. School and academics will come soon enough. If you truly want your child to grow up with a love of learning allow him  or her play.

  10. what about you

  11. in the lap of a parent with a good book, or at the local library during story time.

No 2 yr old should be spending their time sitting in front of a computer with or without their parental figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This age group needs to be exploring his or her world.  Using all of their senes, and exercising all of their muscles.

They need to be listening, acting, touching, tasting, smelling, seeing, as much of the world around them as their parental figure and offer to them.

There are parks, libraries, zoos, museums, kitchens, yards, and other things any child should be exploring long before they HAVE to be sitting in front of a computer.  Parents and other caregivers should be offering as many experiences as a child can take in (without overloading).

IF and only IF there is time in a 2yr olds day, after all of the activities they do in a day, then they could spend maybe a few minutes with a parent  at the computer (no more than 10 min)

  12. www.pbs.com they have a kids section, lots of fun and learning and images she/he will love and recognize

Get a cdrom called "Jumpstart Preschool"  it's so great.  My kids both loved it.

  13. nick jr.com

  14. I was born prior home computers, my mom and dad did this really innovative thing....they read to us, played with us, sang to us.  no help from and Internet site.  strange how my sister and I turned out with above average intelligence.  I suggest interacting with the 2 year old over plopping them down in front of the computer.

  15. The back garden

    Let them eat soil
