Good electric guitar under $300?

I was thinkin a Epiphone Les Paul Studio Goth but if anyone has a better idea, post it here.

Dude, don't get no ESP they are for death metal and similar styles if you want to play that stuff go ahead & get it. Epiphone is owned by Gibson so they are more likely to be good guitars. You can stick with the goth les paul or go for a white les paul studio. Other good brands are Squier, Fender, Ibanez, Dean, and Paul Reed Smith, just to name a few. Also, you can settle for epiphone value packs, they come bundled with everything you need.

here's my second guitar, which si really good.

the guys above do not know much about, since one said that squier was good!? and the other that an epipohone under 300 will be good.

dont get a squier whatsoever, and to get a quality epiphone, you have to spend 500+

its a great ibanez. it plays all kinds of styles, not only designed for metal. it has a set neck, grat pickups, and a stop-piece which gives you A WHOLE LOT MORE of sustain

hope you make the right choice. if you dont have an amp, then save 50$ for a berginher amp, bang for the buck for a person in a budget

Get a Fender Strat - Std.  It plays well and you will get respect.  I have 2.

I believe the ESP guitars are more well made and so a better value for your dollar.  You should check one out if you can.
