Question:

Good euphonium/baritone for a relatively cheap price?

I played the euphonium in high school and would like to continue playing, basically as a hobby/personal. I really don't have the $ to spend upwards of $1,000 on a euphonium. Any good brands that are cheaper? I have played the trombone and they seem to be cheaper, so that is an option, but I'm more comfortable with a euphonium's valves than a trombone's slide. Thanks!

  1. go to a good, well trusted, preferably bigger local store that trades and sells used instruments. Pretty much all music stores (except ones that specialize in electric guitars, drums, etc) have very knowledgeable people that can help you get the best horn for you and your price range. I don't play baritone, so I can't specifically recommend brand.

    good luck!
