I've got how in schools, if you have a different hair style or come from a different culture, you are as a result bullied and that. Nobody likes you because your different and therefore feared.

But what is another example, besides terrorists? It would be great if it were in the earlier days, like before 90's.

Thanks in advance. Will give 10 points out for best answer.

  1. The first european settlers that came to the US were nonconformists.  They didn't want to conform to the church in power in England at the time, and they were marginalized in that society.  They decided to leave to seek a place where they could be free to practice their religion as they wished.

  2. Do not watch TV read book . Start paying attention to civics and current events .

  3. Being an intelligent, good looking feminist who loves every culture and gender in society and is pretty happy all the time can make EVERYONE hate you.  Trust me I know. It sucks butt.

  4. Well for one the best example there is, is the lunatic asylum.

However, most people fear change out of their own apathetic nature, because if you're already ok or on top, what's wrong, if ain't broke don't fix, are things that go through the majority's head.

Also, most people fear change because they fear they can't adapt or the change would do nothing but lead to violence (that's far stretched but the argument is put up there).

An example in the 90's could be Hip-Hop music and the culture that came with it. You can also say grunge music and the culture that came with it. Both came with some stereotypes of negatively and parent's really didn't want a lot of their children being a part of either one.
