Good extra curriculars?

what extra curriculars would look good on a college application for someone whos majoring in dramatic writing & flim?

How about getting a short story published, or even a novel?  Or writing a play and getting it produced somewhere?  Or making your own short films for film contests?  I remember Coca-Cola had one a few years back; I'm sure you can find some online.

Extra-curriculars don't have to be stuff you do in school - often, you can do something more unique and useful out of school.
