  1. Hey!

well let me tell you, you really have my sympathy and understanding! Because from the age of 9 Yes 9!!, ive had acne prone and disgustingly oily skin! It just makes you feel so dirty as the day goes on, i know!

    But after almost 10 years of trying zillions of products heres what has drastically changed my skin for the better;

    1) if you have spotty skin as well as oily, i really recommend Dermalogica AntiBac Skin Wash. Its great.

    2) if you have just very oily skin then Dermalogicas Dermal Clay Cleanser is a kaolin clay-containing wash and just whisks the oil of your face and its really cooling and refreshing.... and is maybe less harsh on your skin as it doesnt contain the salicylic acid that the AntiBac does.

    3) My newest and most favourite find is 5% BENZOYL PEROXIDE gel/cream. IT IS UNREAL and really cheap. There are a few brands you can try at your local drugstore/pharmacy. I use PanOxyl. Dont start off with 10% BP cuz its not necessary and will probably dry out your skin a lot. 2.5-5% is just as effective and less irritating. Ask in your local drugstore or pharmacy for it definitely-- this is my biggest recommendation!

I hope this helps you. Its really made a huge difference to my confidence and my skin is clear and smooth and not a oilslick...i dont look like someone rubbed a bottle of petroleum on my face anymore! I am beaming with confidence and amnt rushing to the bathroom inbetween classes to wipe my face clean with wet tissue anymore.

Oil-blotting/absorbing sheets may also help. Keep them in your bag when your out and about. Mac, Clinique and the Body Shop all sell their own versions. I get mine at Muji but i dont need them anymore!

Dont be alarmed if your skin looks flaky and dry wen you start using the BP. Apply not too much, use it quite sparingly all over ur face, and then your skin will adjust to it over a week or so.

If you still want to use a moisturiser I like Evians Oxygenating one. Make sure ur choice is oil free.

    Good luck!xx

  2. St Ives olive cleanser and olive scrub

"Gently wash away impurities with the Olive Cleanser. A unique olive oil complex with natural anti-oxidants, leave you feeling rejuvenated and healthy."

i have them and they make my skin sooo soft. i love them.

  3. I use a tea tree spot stick and just stick it around the my face where i get spots and they seem to clear up quite quick.

Also a good tea tree & mint or something face scrub helps, like superdrugs own brand one, and its cheap.

also, have you tried an asprin mask?

If you havent, i would as they really reduce redness and everything. If you type asprin mask in on google or something im sure youll find how to make it. If you cant, ask me.

    :) x

  4. I would recommend Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2in1 Wash and Mask. It really makes a difference to the appearance of your skin. It contains kaolin clay- which mops up the sebum (oil) on your skin and it deep cleanses. It also contains salycic acid which is a chemical which helps to exfoliate your skin and combat acne.

You can use this as a face wash daily or a deep cleansing mask once a week, so you get two products for the price of one and its really cheap too. You can get it from most chemists or supermarkets.

  5. Neutrogena Stress Control Acne wash- AMAZING!

  6. Phisohex.
