Question:

Good fantasy movies?

I'm looking for some good fantasy movies to watch, can have sci-fi elements but no animated films, I want real people with love stories and action scenes or fighting scenes. Can be medieval, or present day or in the future, must have fantasy elements though, like magic and stuff. No Harry Potter or LOTR, already seen them.

Thanks xxoo

  4. pan's labyrinth is so much further ahead of every other fantasy movie ever made you dont even need to watch any others. it is the be all and end all of fantasy movies. if you take a step down you can watch time bandits, or even the devil's backbone, which is a horror/fantasy, but really, you have to start with pan's labyrinth

  5. Have you seen the Princess Bride? I'm not sure its REALLY all that fantasy but its really good.

  9. There are a lot of crappy 80's fantasy movies, but if not go with jason vs the Arganauts or Clash of the Titans.

  10. Legend. Starring Tom Cruise and Tim Curry. Came out in 1985. One of the best fantasy movies I've seen. Not a typical role for Tom Cruise.
