  1. Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra/Vectra.. then kit it up

Punto's are not girly trust me, but micra's are. haha

  2. stick to the girly cars as the insurance will cos you a fortune

  3. corsa? fiesta?

  4. If you want something reliable you want to go for:

    Honda

    Toyota

    Nissan

You could try a Ford - they don't have the best reliability scores but parts are very cheap and easy to come buy.

    Puntos aren't actually THAT girly!

For a maximum budget of £2500 you could get a decent Honda Civic (the older ones, of course.)

Don't forget to look into insurance costs, you'll be paying at least £850 per year- and that is on your standard 1.0l Micra.

  5. One without an engine so they can't rev it outside your house at midnight while they play their music full blast on super-mega bass blaster speakers!

No mini's, punto's or micras?  How about a souped-up Corsa or a Clio then?  :)  A nice paint job can make all the difference!

What ever you end up with...DRIVE SAFELY!

  6. look for nissan, you can look for the 1995ish 350z...small two seater ...you'll be lucky to find one, but it should be around your price

  7. VW Golf is a very reliable car which comes up very well in second hand reviews. You should be able to buy a good second hand Golf within your price range. Best to buy from a private owner who has service history, rather than dealership, as they don't have to boost the price to make a profit.

  8. Get a Peugeot 106, they are sooooo economical and if you get a nice one IE quiksilver they are pretty nippy too!! look smart with body kit, and super cheap to insure. I am 21 and have a 1.1 version which is £330 a year to insure!! Bargain!

  9. Yes, I agree. a Golf would be the perfect choice

  10. Oooh ooh Ford Focus!

I used to have a 1.1 litre Peugeot 206... to put it simply, it was ****. Bright blue- im a girl but even I hated it. I hated it so much that when I scraped it along a wall when parking (not my fault, some twerps opened a car door, seriously...) I didn't even bother about repairing it and was happy at the £600 I managed to blag it for.

I then found myself a STUNNING 1.8 litre dark green, 2000 ford focus, or £1600 which was a bargain, 77,000 miles so quite low considering age, and price. Only thing is, being a guy you'd probably have to go for a 1.6 with insurance and all... might want to check with some quotes first... try elephant.co.uk, I got my 1.8 insured for £900 and I'm only 18. (the pug cost me £1100, work that out...!)

But yeah, the car looks incredible for the price and age (get a 3-door, way more sleek) and I get so many compliments and people checking it out, I pride myself on the fact I have a nicer car than may people over double my age... :D

And it sounds awesome and goes like stink. It is a 1.8 but meh, 1.6 is just as quick apparently. I thought fuel consumption would be terrible but if you drive sensibly enough, its pretty great.

You can probably tell I love my car, but seriously, take one into consideration!
