i am a guy with a need for speed ,,,just got my license and well i want to get a car ,,,i dont want anything big as i dont really have a need for it and gas prices going up seem to be a big deal,,,i was thinking of getting a old like1991-1995 honda civic cx ,,,,i would go on but i dont like the rear view of the dx etc too slanted...but i dont know if i am making the right choice dont want to be the laughing stock on the road ,,plus my budget is $5000 ,,,and i want a small fuel effecient car ,,also would the CX be fast enough i mean just for zipping around at the empty country roads once in a while ? my friends old 1994 altima goes over 150km/h ,,,but i also want something that will put that grin on my face and my friends when they're in my car ,,,,i would get the 1999 civic si coupe ,,but too many ppl have then but the hatch back feels a bit more crisp and fun to drive plus easier to park,,,and i dont wanna look like some ricer

  1. 1992 chevy blazer....ooo ya

  2. I would check into Toyotas first. Maybe a bit more expensive, but rather me own **** in an ore house than in a Honda!

And usually Toyotas don't need so many repairs when older (a mate's wife blew the motor on his gran's Honda and it had been maintained well, wasn't being over driven by her, it was simply a not too good car).

A spot on idea not looking like a racer--my Toyota doesn't attract attention but it loves to eat hondas and leaves others of the same size and nearly all SUVs even farther behind.

  3. Umm i know that Civics are like the number 1 cars to get broken into and to be stolen, so you might want to consider that if you get one. But get what you want, cus its your money. But yea..good luck.

  4. Don't get a Honda

get a Toyota. They last sooo much longer [:

  5. Ford Model T
