  1. you dont need credit cards just get store card and mobile on contract dont go over drawn on your account and show that you can save money.

The more cards you have the more likely you spend money

  2. Citi Platinum mastercard.  Great for building credit and also easy to get accepted with.  If you have a cap. one you will def. be accepted to this citi card.  You can view it at http://creditcardwarehouseonline.com on the front bottom of the page.

  3. I started off with capital one too. I think the virgin credit card was my second one.

  4. citibank and discover are good options, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com and compare them all side by side on rates, fees and rewards.

  5. http://credcards.maclenet.com - try this one. I personally use their card for ebay and shopping in Internet.

  6. Building (establishing) your credit takes time not quantity.  Carrying a balance and making payments on time is favorable to creditors because they make money off you (interest) and you demonstrate that you are low risk because you make payments steadily and on time.

You should request Capital One to increase your limit.  If they do not and you are maxed out; you have exceeded your earning/debt ratio.

  7. Don't even bother if i was you

  8. Some retail and gasoline credit cards are not revolving (do not carry a monthly balance) and sometimes are easier to obtain than regular cards. Over time they can help establish history. If you don't have a checking account, open one. You have very little credibility with lenders if you don't have at least a checking account and preferably a savings account as well. Just as importantly, be sure not to overdraw your bank account. Bouncing checks sends a signal to potential lenders that you can't manage your daily finances and are therefore not a good credit risk.

With careful planning and a little knowledge of how lenders issue credit, you CAN establish a credit history fairly painlessly. There are many businesses waiting in line to take advantage of you by charging exorbitant fees or interest rates, so be careful out there.
