  6. You should go to Geja's Cafe in Lincoln Park at 340 W. Armitage Ave..  It is a Fondue place very romantic.  It is a couples place.  Great food and it's fun.  Good place to get to know someone.   Children not allowed.  Check out this review.

  7. Maybe try Bandera's Restaurant. Its on the "Mag-mile" and over looks the street. It is cozy setting and I loved it for Valentine's Day last year. Its a little pricey but worth it.

  8. grant park

    lincoln park zoo

    john hancock building

  9. i love GROTTO ON STATE if you have an Entertainment book you can get buy ine get one free coupon or even print it off the internet for free.

  10. Wrigley Field - the friendly confines are always a great place to be

  11. Carnivale - latin american cuisine, exciting and fun atmosphere. Around $30 or so per person, not including drinks.

By the way, Grotto on State is no longer open downtown. I think they are moving to oak brook

  12. Andy's Jazz Club on  E Hubbard St Now this is more like it, good prices, decent food and lots of music, some modern jazz but, at times greats like clarinet player Kim Cusack and Eric Schneider also plays there, good to have a drink or a pizza (actually very good bar food, honest), and not self conscious trendies, may have to wait to talk until the set is over, the music IS center stage here, and since they cover a gamut of jazz, find the style you like and go that night...

  13. Art Institute.  Plenty of topics of conversation and humor and a great way to gauge if you are compatable.   I think it makes for an ideal first date.

  14. In Chicago, there is a lot to do, ranging from theater to sports. You can look at restuarants at Metromix, and they also have all sorts of other venues that you can check out, and even reviews of it, if any avaiable, so I would reccomend checking the website out. As far as good first date places I don't know. You can walk through Millennium Park, go to Navy Pier, there are all sorts of things to do there. If you like baseball, there are 2 basbeall teams, you can take in a game. It is almost summer, so you have festivals like Taste of Chicago. And when Fevistals are going on, then they will use the Pettillo Music Shell, and plus you also now have Jay Pritzker Pavilion. I would be more surpised if you 2 don't find things to do, then you do find things to do, that might even intrest you both. And don't forget about Chicago's musuems. But there is so much to see and do in Chicago, that you jsut can't get it all done in one day.
