I'm only have 1 out for now due to financial issues...it's my bottom right one and it's very impacted. Anyway...I'm not sure what kinds of foods to buy for me to eat when I get home. I have yogurt, pudding, and applesauce so far. What else would be good and easy to eat? And how long til I would be able to eat regular foods again...since I'm only having 1 out?

  1. I work in a dental office.  The foods you listed are good, but we generally tell patients to eat whatever you like EXCEPT hard crunchy foods like chips, doritos, and anything with seeds (strawberries, sesame seed bagels, etc.) so they don't get caught in the socket.  You want to keep area as clean as possible. Day of surgery you shouldn't rinse at all if possible, and when you brush, let water just "fall" out of your mouth.  after day one, warm salt water rinses will help healing. Good Luck!
