Former Pakistan chief selector, Mohsin Khan feels playing a limited-overs series in the heat of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World T20 championship, will help Pakistan in the mega event, to be held in hot and humid Sri Lankan conditions, in September this year.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 in three One Day Internationals and an equal number of T20 International on UAE venues, between August 28 and September 10. The itinerary is Pakistan’s home series, which they are forced to host on the neutral venues of the United Arab Emirates owing to unsatisfactory law and order situation at home.
Comparing the playing conditions in the UAE to those in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khan-c71319 said that both the venues are quite hot, and it will give Pakistan players an opportunity to prepare themselves for the esteemed tournament.
“The weather in Sri Lanka and the UAE are similar in the sense that both places are quite hot. But the climate of both the venues differs in terms of humidity,” said Khan, a former Pakistan Test cricketer.
“Heat is the common factor though. So I think it’s good for Pakistan that they’re going to play a series in the UAE before the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka,” he added further.

It may be noted that the series against Australia will be Pakistan’s first assignment in UAE since humiliating 0-4 ODI series whitewash at the hands of England, in February this year.
