  1. try to useing a a dry foundation then apply a wet foundation, but not to much because the reason a lot of girls end up with oily skin is starting with a wet foundation when there younger because yes it is cheaper but its not healthy for your skin, it has all kinds of horrible minerals in it that cause your skin to ooze. EWWWWWWW, and the oozing is the oily feel you get on ur skin. i hope i helped, and pppppplllllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaasssssss... pick me for best answer.

  2. I'm a makeup artist, and my sister had this same problem.

She swears by "Sorme" (S O R M E ) powder foundation, and I actually use it on some of my clients with oily skin.

It can go on wet for heavy coverage, or dry. But it covers so well, that I always use it dry.

    It never looks chalky, either.

The only liquid one that works for her, and she has used it for 12 years now, is "New Complexion" foundation from Revlon.

It is the only one that doesnt clog her pores, too.

But make sure you get the OIL FREE version of it.

    Good luck! :-)

  3. Because i have really oily skin, i would prefer..

Oil control lotion by MAC (just before your foundation)

If you want buildable coverage(medium to full)

I would reccommend Studio Fix Powder by MAC

I would reccommend you to use a kabuki brush though, it lightly applies it to your face when you buff it on with this, yet again you can build your coverage. It distributes it easily and evenly.

You can get the 182 kabuki which is 40 something dollars or you can go to kmart and get a POSH kabuki brush for $12 (i own it and its amazing)

If you want more of a mineral powder and more breathable feel..i would reccommend MAC's Mineralized SkinFinish Natural applied with a kabuki (its in powder form not loose)

If you want mineral foundation in liquid form...

Mineralized Satinfinish, i have it and it feels great, make sure to set it with translucent powder :)

If you want to be REALLLY oil free look into MAC's Green gel cleanser my cousins use it (they have oily skin) and it works wonders for them especially when they use the oil control lotion afterwards.

Oh, and as for your foundation staying on all day, IF you want to, you can look into MAC's Prep&Prime Face Protect SPF50 just really talk to a MAC Artist about these products if your iffy on their skincare!

However, I would reccommend Smashbox's photofinish light, i hear that is really great!

If you need full details about this product please feel free to email me or go to their websites and just search these products..

    www.maccosmetics.com

    www.sephora.com

    Hope this helped!

  4. Physician's Formula is good for mineral powder, however it is expensive. Try to catch it on sale, because it's definitely worth it!

Make sure you get the right shade, because I picked up a shade too dark and it's a weird orangey colour. Ask a cosmetician for help at the store if you can.
