Good gin drinks for those who hate gin?

So I really don't like gin. Maybe it's the fact that it tastes like juniper berries. Maybe it's the bitterness. Maybe it's a combination of the fact that it is bitter and tastes like juniper berries. At any rate, I'm not really a fan, but my friends and I are stuck with a plethora of Beefeater and we are not the type to waste alcohol. What's a good gin that will make it more palatable? Like mask the bitterness or juniper berry flavor. Actually, the juniper berry taste wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't so intense.

  1. I really didnt like gin until i tried mixing it with lime juice...the flavors really mix well together so the gin flavor tastes refreshing instead of like pine needles and rubbing alcohol.  I forget what the drink is but there is some sort of drink with gin, lime juice, orange juice, and other mixers that i cant remember that is amazing.  Hope this helps...

  2. Orange Blossom:

    Gin

    Orange juice

    Dash of bitters

  3. OK...I know this doesn't sound that great, but I love Gin and Cherry 7UP...kind of sweet, but if you don't much like the taste of Gin, the soda really covers it up.

  4. after you choke down a couple tonics, you'll begin to like and enjoy them.  Gin is good, gin wants to be your friend.

Good option because the grapefruit juice makes it more tolerable, balancing out the bitterness.

    Alabama Fizz

This one is my favorite, a little bit of sweet and sour, you won't even taste the gin.

    Gin Sling 2

    sweet and strong!

  6. Tonic, although you may not like that taste either. Perhaps ginger ale or cranberry?
