Good golf ball for driving?

Actually, every one's "perfect" ball is "perfect" for them.  There are lots of factors involved, such as launch angle from your driver, roll v. carry, hard v. soft course/fairways, soft v. hard cover feel, etc.

You need to take a few different types of balls that you like to the course (preferably NOT on a busy day) and hit each of them from the tee box on your course.  Then you can determine which works best for you.  For example, I carry the ball a long way usually v. roll.  I would love to add the roll some people get to my shot.  Also, you might want to go to a golf club or course that has a launch monitor.  They can use the information given (spin, launch angle, club and ball speed) to possibly fit you for a ball.  

If you REALLY want to find the longest ball, it's JUST a little more complicated than people think.  LOL

Balls that are "good for distance" are seldom as good around the green.  My advice is to work on your conditioning and become stronger in your core muscles.....that will add to your distance without sacrificing feel around the green.

pinnacle balls, and there are these other ones at canadian tire that you can get that are slightly smaller and therefore they go way longer

The ball that I hit the longest is Wilson Titanium.  It's a very hard ball, but it gives me 20 yards more than the more common balls, like Titleist DT SoLo, ProV1 / X, Nike Black, Juice, or Top Flite D2, Freak, or Gamer.  It's very long.  But you sacrifice spin on the green to hold that tough pitch / chip.

in my experience, the HX Hot is the longest ball available that is still not horrible around the greens.  I use it when I get stuck playing captains choice tournaments so I can hit it even farther than I usually do.
