im not going fender, i feel theyre overused and they arent made like they used to be, thats why all the good bands use vintage one. i was thinking this http://www.guitarcenter.com/Schecter-Omen-6-Electric-Guitar-101262830-i1149925.gc . but its more on the harder music side. i want something more exotic, not like BC Rich c**p like. more like schecter stuff

  1. Get the gibson! duh lol

  2. I'm a Fender fan, I think they're built great today as they were yesterday, and they don't have that hum either. John Frusciante plays Fender.

Anyways, I wouldn't order any guitar over the internet. I would head out to the store, play some guitars, see which one you like best. I don't know what your price range is, but Gretsch guitas are nice. They have a great look, great sound. Epiphone Explorers and Firebirds, those are cool looking guitars.

But like I said...go out and play them to find what you like and try and get the sound like.

    Good Luck man

    Oh, I forgot...

You know you gotta check into your effects. Have a good amp to help get that sound. A great guitar can sound terrible through a bad amp.
