Good health insurance in the KC area

If you had to buy your own policy for health insurance, which insurance would you recommend? Blue Cross, American Family, etc. Help! It's for me and my teen. Thank you in advance!

  1. So far, the best coverage at the most reasonable price is Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas City. They have tons of different plans to choose from; plus they have high-deductable plans that have a lower copay for people with low health risks. Stay away from United HealthCare!!! Their coverage is getting so bad that hospitals and doctors are dropping out of their networks (St. Luke's East in Lee's Summit is dropping them in 2009).
