Good idea to shoot 2 robbers at a liquor store in Los angeles county?

If I have a gun behind the counter & 2 robbers come in with a gun, can I shoot them both if I later find out that only 1 had a gun(one watching outside the counter) & the other(one without any weapon) jumps over the counter & collects the money(both have hood on to protect their identity)? At the time of robbery, I saw one had a gun & thought they both had guns.

Hopefully a video will show you had reason to fear for your life.  (Anytime you are the victim of a robbery applies in my opinion.)  Even if you don't have a permit to have a gun, getting arrested for having a weapon is better then being dead.

When they outlaw guns, I will be come an outlaw.

If the robber has his gun drawn, and yours is behind the counter, chances are you would end up being very dead before you shot anybody.

You would almost certainly face charges for shooting the unarmed man.  You might get away with killing the armed man in terms of criminal charges, but his family could always bring a civil suit.  They might not win, but they could tie up your life with a civil trial, and you'd be paying c**p loads of money to a lawyer.

Also, killing someone in real life isn't like killing them in the movies.  You'll feel awful, and it will be something you'll carry with you the rest of your life.

Also, it can be a lot more messy than it is in the movies.  Let's say your shot isn't dead center because, not surprisingly, your aim is a little rushed in that situation.  He might get a shot off at you before you take your second shot.  His buddy might leave both of you there, and the two of you could bleed out before help arrives.

Best thing is to hand over the money and call the cops when they're gone.  You're life is way more important than the cash.

shoot em both and u can claim u suspected them both to be armed if you saw a gun you feared for your life and didn't know if they could both be packing.
