What are some good ideas, or fairy tales I can change? The types are:

Politically correct tale

Modernization of seting

Character clash

Twsting of Fate

The Other Side (Point of View swap)

Nothing Cinderella or Little Red Riding Hood. I'm looking for something funny and creative. Thanks!

well you could do the tortoise and the hare-the hare has sleep apnea and it was unfair of the tortoise to take advantage of the hare's disability.

you could retell one of Joel Chandler Harris' Uncle Remus tales-the wonderful tar baby for example, since tar baby is a politically incorrect slang term now

i saw this idea on a humorous greeting card...Cinderella and snow white meet each other and they have their sons with them, who look like identical little princes. the ladies exclaim, "You're married to prince charming too?"
