Anyone out there have any good ideas for cold ovo/lacto vege meals for a two year old? She's starting preschool and since their menus do not work for her, I'll be sending cold lunches for her every day. It has to be something she can eat without assistance. Thanks!

  1. The options are limitless:

    Hummous and pita

make falafel patties and she can eat them cold

    the obvious PB and J

    veggies with ranch dip

tortilla wraps with beans, rice, corn- roll and slice

sushi rice with avocado and cucumber- make sushi rolls

Apple slices and PB or tahini

celery filled with PB and raisins

    cream cheese on bagel slices

    egg salad sandwiches

    cold latkes with applesauce

crepes- with fruit or PB filling

  2. I found the best way to feed that age group is a wide variety of finger food.It seem about that age they do not want to eat so I strung it out in 5 to six snacks a day.Cheese sticks, apple, and so on just putting a few out at a time.
