Good ideas for your new room

so i just got a new room and i need help thinking of ideas to like decorate it.I am into sports and i have only about 150 to spend

Paint it with the colors of your favorite team for team sports.  Choose one of the colors (less wild one) to paint the walls and then paint a few stripes with the other color.  Get some "turf" for an area rug (plastic grass) or in a contrasting color (usually sports team have two complimentary colors (such as blue and orange, purple and yellow, etc.).  Use sports stuff (I'm sure you've got some-cards, jerseys, etc.) to put on the walls.  Also display all of your equipment as accent pieces which will keep them organized and readily accessible.  Also make sure to display those trophies, awards, and/or old sentimental equipment (little league helmet, etc.) on simple shelves again painted in that contrasting team color.

Good luck and make it yours, forget what everyone else says it's your space and you're the one that has to live with it.

get a wall mural of one of your favorite sports and put it to the opposite wall of your window. put your desk for studying, computer or whatever against the wall with the mural. put track lights on top of your desk. put one tall lamp on the opposite corner. add furniture in your room, but not too much. good color combos: pink+brown, blue+navy blue, green+gray, red+orange, black+white and magenta+purple

A framed jersey of one of your favorite players can be an awesome decoration.  You could also put any of your memorabilia like signed baseballs or hats in there on shelves.  Decorating the walls should be easy...you could find cheap frames for different magazine covers or pictures.
