Just do a back yard barbecue - with games like Frisbee golf, volleyball, lawn bowling and be sure to have a address book for everyone so they can get friends phone numbers and email. Take lots of pictures and set up a "class of" site on photo-bucket so kids  can get the ones they want - just email everyone the link after you upload the images and tell anyone who wants to email you pictures (or someone can volunteer) to add over the summer until school starts or even on into middle school and high school it could be a terrific virtual "yearbook". Have Fun!

Have a bbq and play some games in the backyard.

Serve hamburgers and hot dogs with all the toppings.

Set up an ice cream bar with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, and toppings.  Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and cherries and let everyone make their own sundaes.

Get a volleyball net and let everyone play volleyball and badmitten.  

Have waterballoon fights.

Get an inflatable kiddie pool, fill it with water, and do a tug of war, the losing team ends up in the water.

Have a pie eating contest, but instead of pie, fill the pie tins with whipped cream, whoever finishes first wins.

Do relay races.  Potato sack races, three legged races, wheelbarrel races, where one person stands and holds the other person's legs and they go to the finish lines, whoever gets there first wins.

Have some music set up.

Make sure to have some lawn chairs out and some umbrellas, etc, this way there's a place for those that can't or don't want to play, they can sit and hang out.

Have some team sports, kickball, soccer games, softball, etc.  

Have lots of snacks, and drinks available, water, iced tea, lemonade, etc.
