  1. Zara is a great store and they have one in Paris.   You can find the location at www.zara.com.

  2. Get the book 'Paris pas cher' you will get all the info you need.

Also, you can access Usine center (factory outlets) there are couple of them arround Paris (one is one or two stop before you arrive to Roissy - Charles de Gaulle Airport) Ask your hotel, they should know.

  3. nice selection

  4. There is a huge music store (CDs etc...) near there. And by huge i mean 2 or 3 stories (cant remember exactly, its been too long).

  5. Best bet would be to go to metro Havre Caumartin (lines 9 and 3), you have a Zara, Gap, Printemps & the Galéries Lafayette, H&M, etc all within walking distance.

Also, walk up the rue de Caumartin towards the Gare St Lazare, you have plenty of inexpensive stores.

You could also try Les Halles (metro Chatelet or les Halles), which is a huge underground shopping center, lots of shopping in the neighborhood too, but I find it a bit depressing

Bear in mind that if you are from the US, we may not have the same definition of inexpensive!
