  1. I have heard that Amalfi's in Fremont St is good but I have never been there so I cannot 'recommend' it personally. However, the person who has been there said they had a good meal at a very reasonable price.

If you are south of Portland you might try Giovannis' in Beaverton.

  2. "Genoa" is rated one of the best in Portland

  3. YESSSSs

  4. Genoa's is great but expensive.

Pazzo in downtown is a nice option, moderately expensive.

Amalfi's on NE Fremont is inexpensive to moderate but to me the food is very basic Italian, nothing special though done alright.  Lots of seating but can fill up quickly on a busy night.

The Italian Joint on SE Hawthorne is nice, moderatly priced with something a bit more interesting than just the basics and the food has been good to quite good.  Smaller place, might call for reservations.

  5. Olive Garden is great as well.
