I need a job I can work at around 2 days a week because my college schedule is very full (5 classes). I'm having trouble finding a job that will accommodate this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  1. Your only options are going through your school through a work-study program, waitressing, bartending, or telemarketing. Perhaps even places like Target might employ you.  If it's possible you should try to rearrange your schedule a little.  Your other option is to nix getting a job if it's not really necc. and volunteer instead.

  2. A lot of restaurants hire weekend help, so do some stores near campus or gas stations.

You might even try to find something on campus, working for the school.

    Good luck!

  3. 5 classes is NOT what I would consider very full. It is the standard schedule. Why not just work after school? I have 5 classes every semester, and a ton of time afterwards, even with work that consists of more than just 2 days a week.

You can't handle 5 hours a day with a college schedule that will probably have you out of class at about 1pm every day? Just get a job working a later shift. Maybe 5pm - 10pm everyday, leaving you a HUGE chunk of time to do homework from 1pm - 5pm, which includes plenty of free time. Plus you get off at 10pm, so there is more free time right there. Then you would have even more free time on the weekends. 5 classes is not a difficult schedule.

  4. It all depends on what your trying to do. THere are several part-time jobs that would work around your schedule. A question to ask yourself is if you want to work in your degree or outside of that profession just to pick up some extra cash.

*waitressing is a wonderful lucrative job that has endless cash potiential.

*bartending as well, I make almost $600 a week just workd a few nights.

*there is always work study and on campus jobs available at all universities, check with your career center.
