My 3 1/2 yr daughter has gotten really really good with the computer, and as she loves Noggin.com, PBSkids.org, NickJr.com, and PlayhouseDisney.com.....I would like to find some good pre-school software for her. And are there any other good sites that she could visit and enjoy?

Any suggestions? You have heard of "born again christians"? Well, I am a "born again mommy" ( I hate the term "late in life")....Alexis has a 24 yr old brother and a 21 yr old sister and when we didnt even get our first computer until they were both in their teens. (this info is for those of you who are wondering why I dont know what or where to look for this stuff) Any way, thanks for any and all help.

  1. Be creative with your own computer's paint program or drawing.  Randomly place some auto shapes (squares and circles of various sizes that may overlap)  onto the screen and help your daughter to click with different colors to "fill" the spaces.  You can delete and play over and over. A nice expressive art activity.

  2. starfall.com !!!  my almost-4 yr old lovessssss this site!

I found it by asking the same question in here!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. You have some good answers already. I just wanted to add that the Leapster hand held games are excellent!  My favorite games (and my kids favorites) are "letters on the loose" and "numbers on the run"  they teach recognition, adding, subtraction, letter sounds and it has a little "pencil" and you trace and practice writing the numbers and letters. more good ones are Dora, Thomas the Train,  preschool, Backyardigans and even Spongebob is an educational game!  All the games are very fun for kids. My kids have learned so much from these games!
