Good lists of plants?

Cactuses, flowers, shrubs and bushes, trees, herbs, you name it, I want a good list of websites showing lots and lots of plants.

(I'm going to learn all their Latin names :P)

  1. I wish you the best of luck with your task: perhaps this will come as a surprise to you, but there are around a quarter of a million flowering plant species alone! Add to that gymnosperms, ferns, mosses, etc. and you'll be at it for quite a while... ;)

    These are all sites that offer different data bases and search capabilities so you will find some more useful than others. Also the phylogenic sites are useful in understanding relationships, especially the first three.
