Good luck card help?

So im making a homemade good luck card for 2 guy friends that are going to state for swimming. So my question is what should it say in it other than the normal 'good luck blah blah blah' and what should i do to make it really cool?

Attach a new penny to each with the message: "I'm sending this penny along with you to wish you luck in your swim meet. Everytime you look at it, please remember that I am wishing you the best.

If you really want to get fancy, put a hole in the penny and thread a leather necklace for them to wear!

Make the cards in a shape of a horseshoe, color

them green, try and find some four leaf clovers

or shiny copper pennies that spell, "SUCCESS"

and then in writing add at the state swimming competition.
