  1. Skywise is right (except Sais is spelt with an i). Why should someone who has had Gareth Edwards, Barry John, Gerald Davies, Jonathan Davies, JPR, JJ..and of course, Scott Gibbs...(.had you crying in your champers didn't he...he he he).. etc be jealous of Wilkinson??? Even Neil Jenkins was better than him.

We've beaten you now twice on the trot..the wheels are coming off the chariot...oh, no, dear me, how sad (not).

I will be supporting the Italians on Saturday but I don't think the English will lose that one  but we can but hope.

By the way, 'suspects' does not have a double s.... having difficulty with your own language eh?

Last time we played you?...yes, I remember...26-19 to Wales, I think you'll find.(Or are you referring to a few years back when Wales had a c**p team, as England have now?)

Neil Jenkins was good but not in Phil Bennett & co's league... but still better than anyone you've got.

  2. Go Italy. I hope they do well this year

  3. Oh dear - who's a bitter little Saes then?

Feeling a bit let down by your boring thugs are you?  Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

To quote a famous Englishman : "They don't like it up 'em"

Come on Italy.  We're all counting on you to mash their ugly English mugs into the ground.

BTW : Why should we feel jealous of Little Jonny?  He's not exactly Barry John is he?  Or Jonathan Davies? Or James Hook?

Just a boy with a boot - not a true outside half at all.

  4. Despite being an Ireland supporter, I really can't see Italy winning this one.

England are better than that second half v Wales. There is likely to be a backlash to that kind of defeat!

I only wish I had more confidence in Ireland v France.

Also, let's hope Scotland win too!

  5. This is probably the best chance for Italy to beat England since the tournament started. Italy are on the way up, England are still struggling under Ashton and have picked up a lot of injuries before this game in Rome. I think having Italy capable of competing for the six nations title can only be a good thing as it will bring a lot of new fans to the game of rugby, so I agree with the only part of your question that I could understand, Good luck Italy.

  6. I'd like to see Italy win to see the joy on my Italian friends face!

In reality I think England will stroll it.

    BTW I'm Scottish.

  7. Me? England through and through.

But I have to say, if they don't wake up this weekend they will be at the front end of an even bigger tournament upset.

They gave the game to Wales on a plate last week and their second half attitude was bordering on arrogance.

England will have to dig deep because the Italians will be no pushover.

  8. Italy will have the same advantage afforded to Wales last weekend - Ashton is picking the team again.

Think how well Italy have played in the last six months, they truly deserve to beat England.

Of course, we will then get all the usual English  "reasons" (the pre-match pasta was cold, it was too sunny in the second half, we left our zimmer frames in the hotel. You know the stuff!

    Good luck Italy
