I know I want to major in Spanish when I go to college. I want to speak it as a 2nd language. What would be a good major to go along with it? I want a job where I would work with people everyday, and I want to be able to put knowing Spanish to use a lot. I also love working with kids, but want a decent salary. Any ideas of some jobs for me?

  1. An ESL teacher makes decent money these days.  If you are fluent in spanish, there are school districts that will take you on as a teacher while you get certified.  Add special education to that, and you can start in the high 40Ks for a salary.  Social work is another good area but requires a masters degree.
