Hi.

I'm searching for a good make up for my skin type, which is oily and occasionally spotty- it's not as bad as it used to be, but for the occasional flare-up, it has to be covered.

It has to be sweat/heat proof, as where I work is quite warm and I work hard, and it has to be a good cover.

Price isn't an issue, but I have to be able to buy it in Boots/Superdrug, not online, as I do like to test make up for skin colour match.

  1. If you can get to a department store I would reccomend going in and trying out the products, you can do this by yourself or get someone to work there to help you and advise you. I think when it comes to make up it is definately worth spending a little more especially if you have a skin which is prone to flare ups.

In some where like house of fraser or debenhams they have a really good selection of brands to try out. I would recommend mac personally but just go in to a store and try them out for yourself. :)

  2. I really like Clinique foundation as they cater for all skin types and I find that it gives my skin smooth, even coverage. It might be a little pricier than some other brands but the ingredients are non comogenic which means it won't cause any flare ups and I always find their foundations to last longer. You can buy Clinique from Boots and Debenhams and they have trained people at the counters to help you determine your skin type and colour. Hope this helped!
