I'm from adelaide and am going to melbourne in about a months time to party for my 21st, just wanting to know what some good nightclubs are?

I like places with young crowds... rnb/house/music in the charts.. i don't like heaps young crowds where everyones either underage or 18 though and i feel old lol. But crowds where the majority is 18-25

If you've ever been to Adelaide i really like The Grand on a sunday night. Also the Alma... HQ Flashdance.. the old exchange... swish.. duke of yorke... so yeah anything like that

thanks :)

  1. Copacabana is really great Brazilian restaurant in melb it has live music and shows till 12 served with dinner then after that it turns into a night club very crowded and also great r&b music i loved it and had my 21st there

  2. If you're into R&B than you have to go to QBH. They call it a 'superclub' and it is freakin massive. Can have a pretty high cover charge depending on who is playing. http://www.queensbridge.com.au/index.htm...

Also Revolver in Prahran is good. You might also like Billboard in the city. If you are in the city there are lots of smaller lounge bars and clubs hidden in the laneways that cater for particular scenes and are generally a bit more sophisticated than QBH, Billboard etc. These are large commercial clubs usually full of suburban kids who come into the city for the night to get s^&tfaced.

Chill On is a bar made entirely of Ice Swanston St and is a must-do as well for something different.

    My favourite bars in Melbourne:

The Lounge (Swanston St -awesome place, caters for all tastes, I've taken everyone from my pill-poppin cousin to my Mum here and no-one has complained. The Lounge is a winner every time).

Double Happiness (in Chinatown off Little Bourke St)

The Rooftop (Level 3, Swanston Street)

    Madamme Brussels (Bourke St)

Ding Dong (punk/rockabilly club, probably not your scene)

  3. Go hit South Yarra. That area is going off.  The main road is Chapel St where you will have your pick of the lot.  They also have some clubs/bars over in St Kildas not to mention a few in the city center.  I was too drunk to remember specific names
