Good mouthpiece for Mellophone?

I'm now in high school and playing the mellophone. I am using a Schilke 31 on my horn and was wondering if there was a mouthpiece that would have a better sound for mellophone. Also, maybe easier to hit high notes

trumpet mouthpiece? i prefer a bach 3c.

better yet, get an adapter & use a french horn mouthpiece like a farkas model (less bright, better tone & range flexibility)
