Good multiplayer pc games?

ok my playstations interent has stated to become buggered up for some unknown reason are there any good pc FPS mulitplayers or any mulitplayers for tht matter tht would be good for a console player to get used too (oh they have to be able to run a a mid-spec vista laptop) hehe

Call of Duty 4, or maybe the new one (Call of Duty: World at War) coming out soon would be good. Although I'm not sure they;d work on your laptop... you'd have t ocheck the specification.

battlefield 2 is kick ***. its a quite old now so should run ok on a modern laptop. 64 players online with tanks, choppers, boats, jeeps.....its wicked and you can pick up a copy for less than a tenner.

counterstrike is good too, or wolfenstein, oh, and half life 2 source.
