Good music for a party?

Question

I'm havin a party for my husband, i already got alot of the songs he's into. but i want my guests to enjoy themselves too. I need some good tunes, that wont overpower the conversation. NO EMO/PUNK... mainly lighter rock, hip hop and just stuff to chill to. Ages of the guests will be from 20-29 Thanks!

Well I found some good "chill music" are from bands like Linkin Park, Evanescence, Sarah Mclachlan, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilipeppers, StoneSour (mellow heavy metal), Tool, The Beatles...yeah that's a start on some bands I've heard at  chilled parties. Hope it helps deary.

Go to Wikipedia and search for the #1 songs the year your husband was born, maybe some one hit wonders from high school, #1 songs the year he graduated, etc...I've done this for parties before where everyone's in the same age group and people really like it!
