Good news for Chelsea as both Frank Lampard and John Terry are scheduled to make come backs, Ancelotti
Chelsea fan's can finally rejoice as it looks like their bad run of form in the Premier League might come to an end. The team that went from being the most immovable and unbeatable team in the Premier League went on to lose at home to
Sunderland and hasn't managed to win a game since then. Earlier today the team managed to barely draw past a rampant Newcastle.
However the main reason for Chelsea not performing to their true potential can be summed down to the fact that the team has been without both, John Terry and Frank Lampard. The duo's absence has been something of a major blow to the team
as it appears like they have no stability in their defence or their midfield.
It appears as though the two players will be back for the teams clash with Everton next weekend. Carlo Ancelotti, the team's manager is reported to have said: "Next week for him (Terry) and Lampard will be an important week. They will
start to train with the team.”
He further commented on the player’s availability in the Everton match saying, "We have a week to control their condition and I hope both, maybe more John Terry than Lampard, will be able to play against Everton.”
He added, "They are very important players, not just technically, but because they have personality and character, and at the moment, we need to have that kind of player at our disposal."
Chelsea were already hot favourites to win that game, however with both their star players returning the team will now be looking to go all out in the game and ensure all three points. The recent drop in form has also seen Chelsea drop
off the top spot in the league.
However they will now be looking to get back to their best and whilst hoping that Lampard and Terry will be available to help them along the way till the end of the season.
