Good off ice training schedule?

i skate twice to 2 or 3 times a week so i really need off ice, als o wat should i be eating? if u could give me a two hr routine (1hr AM and 1hr PM) for me to follow and then make out a sample days meal plan that i can almost gauruntee u will get best answer, Ireally want to do good at skating really really bad. PLS HELP!!! thx!

  1. you don't say what level you are at but i would suggest swimming which is working every single muscle in your body. try strength training-you might need to join a gym for this because you may want to do specific things to improve your body for skating, running,  jump rope, off ice classes (include stretching, off ice jumps (jump position, rotation etc) flexibility etcetc.  just eat healthy not loads of junk, salad for lunch, cereal in the morning and a hot dinner in the evening, snack on fruit or other healthy low calories things inbetween breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner because it helps the metabolism speed up.

  2. I skate the same amount as you. Heres what i can suggest.

    Eating - 3 nutritainal meals a day. Cereal or fruit for breakfast. Lunch - salad, sandwich, fish, anythink thats healthy and will keep you going till tea. Fo tea, a hot meal, with at least 1 portion of vegtables evenif its a burger, but lettace on and onion, little things make all the diffrence. For snacks insted of going for crisps, try grilled parsnips or oven baked, fruit, and if you want some think bad every now and then go for it! limit your self to so much treats a week, say, et healthy all week and on sunday eat what you want.

    Monday.

    Breakfast - Porrage

    Snack - Carrot sticks (Raw)

    Lunch - Salad and your choice

    Snack - fruit

    Tea - chicken breast, potatoes - (how you like them) and choose somethink.

    Thats for 1 day, just play around and find our what you like most.

    Arobic video in the morning for an hour, and swimming, gym or running in the afternoon. Alwyas jog for 3 miuntes and streach for two before execersing.
