Good online sources and books for beginning FLUTE?

Question

I'm a music major and love my brass instruments. Unfortunately, the woodwind world scares me a bit and I'd like to be more confident in that area.

While I have some books and fingering charts, I'd like to find some actual songs and information on technique for the flute. I have one for the summer and what to use my time wisely!

I'd prefer online sources if they are decent because of easy access but any books would be helpful as well.
