  1. pay is based on rank,,not job.  there is no pay difference between say security forces or communications.  it is your rank ,,more rank, more pay

  2. wow! this is an oxymoron. "good paying"-"national guard"(any military branch)

  3. your job doesn't affect your pay...your rank does. Recruiters and Drill Sgt's get a little extra. But, NG is part time..so maybe I'm confused as to the answer you're wanting....

  4. Pay is based off rank & time in service, not the type of job you have.  At any rate, the National Guard is a part time job, so you'll get part time pay.  You won't get rich nor will you make enough to pay the bills with any branch of the service if you're in the reserves (part time).

  5. There are no good paying jobs in the Army National Guard.  No military branch federal, or state have a good salary.  To tell you the truth, we have a ridicules salary as it is, for the job we are faced with.  But then again, NOBODY joins the military for the benefits or pay!  If they did, than that is ignorant because benefits and pay are reserved for the civilian jobs!

No MOS (jobs) pay more than the other.  Salary is determined on what rank you are and how long you held it.

  6. Pay is based on rank, not by "job". If your basic pay scale is E-1, you make the same as every other E-1.
