Good persawsive ferret essay?

Question

I think getting me a ferret will teach me responsibility. Such as I will learn how to clean a cage. I would do this once a day to once every 2 days. If you would concieder this I would be happy. If I do not come therw with my promis you may give him away. I would wash love him and name him gorge or owchie. I would take care of all of its stuff and pay for some of it. Please let me get that chubby ferret. The numbers of what we had you can not say that we cant have another that’s to much. We had 24 + dinger and more - 24 and others not dinger = 4 + 1 = 5 -1= 4 + 1 = 5 so it would be the same as last time. Im older now and I no how to take care of them iv done my research wrote reports and more. Please consider this.

Thank you Percy for being my hero! Finally, I do not have to write a post telling people not to get them! I'm tired of repeatedly saying its hard work, you might regret it blah blah blah.

It's quite tiring how people think ferret care is so easy.

How about instead of all your posts whining about wanting a ferret you take all this wasted time and learn how to spell words like "persuasive" and "promise"?

Give me your parents' email address.  I'LL write them an essay - about why you SHOULDN'T get a ferret.  

Ferrets are NOT a good pet for young children - which you obviously are.  

They require a LOT of time and a lot of attention.  

Ferrets are prone to lots of diseases - cardiomyopathy, adrenal disease, lymphoma, insulinoma.  And with ferret vets few and far between treating these diseases can be incredibly expensive.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times the shelter I volunteer with has been brought starving to death or dying ferrets that have come from homes where it was the "child's" pet.  The parents never bothered to check on the ferret and meanwhile the child had grown bored with it and had completely ignored it.  And the ferret had one of the diseases I mentioned or the child simply hadn't bothered to feed it for an extended period of time.  Often these ferrets have DIED despite our efforts to save them.

Educate yourself about ferrets and perhaps when you're older and working at a job that gives you the means to provide for one properly you can go adopt one from a shelter.

Ferrets are extremely hard to take care of, they're like babies. Be aware of your responsiblities if you purchase one. :]
