Good pet for a magician help me decide you can change the way i think pretty much what animal should i use?

Ok i am into magic and can't chose an animal like which one i want to use for my tricks now it should be small but also i want different not the old rabbit out of the hat like something new fresh cool or just weird (must be a living animal)

A dove or a lizard or a little black cat

You could do something like a ball python or corn snake, because snakes have some "wow" factor to them.  Otherwise, a bird would be neat.  Smaller birds like an African Gray Parrot are very smart, and would be trainable for trick.

One you know you can take care of and will be committed to for the rest of its life, just like anyone else who wants a pet.  Or maybe you know someone whose pet wouldn't mind being in magic acts (it would have to be fine with audiences, and you would have to make sure it stays safe, which obviously you'd need to consider if you got your own animal as well).  You have to be careful because animals can get stressed and hurt easily.

maybe some doves or have a couple white mice crawl out of your hat when you turn it over....just make sure you dont lose the mice at the place your performing!! :)
