Good pets for 12 year old boy?????

my 12 year- old son is dying 4 a pet . he would like one that he can handle too. i dont know what to get him. help!!!!!!

maybe you could get him :

    
• a puppy ( I suggest a golden retriever because their bites are more playful and not hard, as opposed to a german shepherd, who can bite around 250 lbs. of force. )

    
• a reptile ( a snake, a turtle, a lizard, et cetera )

    
• a bunny/ rabbit

    
• a guinea pig

    
• a hamster

    
• maybe a mouse/ rat

if these suggestions don't work, then ask your kid what he wants. ( unless its a surprise!)
