Good place for a rehearsal dinner in <span title="Cambridge/Watertown/Waltham">Cambridge/Watertown/Walth...</span> area?

Question

Having our rehearsal dinner for our wedding in August and looking for a fun place for 25-30 people in the Cambridge/Watertown/Waltham area. Looking to spend about $30 per person and a private or off-main dining room area would be ideal, but not absolutely necessary.

The Chateau in Waltham would be good.  It is an authentic family italian restaurant.  It is huge with several different room and i know that they have hosted functions in the past.  The food is really good and probably about 20-30 a person.  Check out their website.

Try Not Your Average Joe&#039;s in Watertown.  They have a small but nice patio that you could have for your party.  It also has umbrellas in case of rain.  The menu ranges from $10-20 per person and there is a nice wine list.  I used to work there so I know you can reserve the patio, if the person who answers says you can&#039;t, ask for a manager.

I also agree that Asiana Fusion is great.

I work in Watertown.  either of these restaurants would be perfect.

Porchini&#039;s on School St in Watertown, or Aegean on Arsenal St.  

porchini&#039;s is amazing homemade italian, Aegean is a very nice, candles and white table cloth, authentic greek food. Both are amazing!

On Main St in Watertown is Stellina, which has a private back room and a parking lot in the back. We had dinner there for a private party on NYE and it was a wonderful place.  It&#039;s pretty and romantic, so it would work great for your occasion.

I disagree with the Chateau, as it is chock full of Waltham townies and blue hairs and is not as great as the hype that surrounds it. The food is good but its standard Italian fare you can get anywhere.

Asiana Fusion is on Waverley St in Watertown and doesnt look like much from the outside, but is nice inside. Its small but they will close the restaurant for a party. The food is EXCELLENT chinese food, we are addicted to the calamari. Plus they do asian small plates and have a good cocktail menu. They also have a parking lot, which is always crucial when when alot of people are coming.
