I'm planning to throw a little party before I leave London (been here for a couple of years) for a few friends and I, looking for somewhere where we can all dress up with our hats and such... and have a great memorable event. any ideas?

  1. have you tried mcdonald's? (john, rock island, Il)

  2. For something different, try Yauatcha on Broadwick Street.  Fantastic oriental cakes and teas.

Another great one is The Wolesley on Piccadilly.

  3. Oh absolutely! You must try the Lanesborough Hotel at Hyde Park Corner!

The atmosphere is simply Grand in the Conservatory, everything you imagine a really nice setting for a really memorable tea.

The pastries are delightful and the setting just screams for you to dress to KILL!!!!
