  1. i know a place where the service is excellant and so is the food. its an indian cusine near the victoria centre. its called 'Noor Jahan' the food is cheap but gorgeous, the manager mr khan is also very kind and welcoming... its so easy to get to. go past that tesco inside vic centre and go out that door, keep walking up the road and its on the left.... i know mr. khan, he has been running the place for 20 odd years.. i bet you will like it.. does that sound okay???

  2. Not city centre I'm afraid, but my friend and I often used to eat at the "Ferryboat" at Stoke Bardolph.  It's right on the banks of the River Trent. It always use to be a nice place to eat, in or out.  The food was always good and the prices were more than reasonable.

At night you can see the city lights, and can hear the steady murmur of a city about its business.

You also get the benefit of the fresh air, and can take an after dinner stroll along the banks of the Trent, if you're so minded.

It might not be quite in the location were looking for, but it's got to be worth a look.

    Thanks, Hayley!  (Entry above)

Well it's been a few years, and I guess things perhaps aren't what they used to be!!  I suppose I'll need to look elsewhere next time I'm in town?!!

  3. Subway.   There sandwiches are not bad and you see them made in front of your eyes.

  4. world service - up by the castle. Bit pricey but worth it.  has won awards. Have a nice time!!!

Alternatively, las iguanas is lovely and not expensive - its on angel row.

just read Grays answer below mine - I used to live in stoke bardolf until recently. The ferry boat has gone down hill massively - now a 2 for 1 pub and the food is awful!!
