Good place to go on a vacation?

Question

I have always wanted to go on a really nice vacation and I think i might actually be able to this summer.

I am looking to go somewhere along the lines of Mexico, or somewhere in central America/south America or the Caribbean. I have heard that some places in Mexico like Acapulco or Cozumel are good places to visit and I have also heard that Jamaica is a good place to go to...

If anyone could tell me a great place to go in the Caribbean/Central America/South America from your own experience that would be great, thanks!

I have been several times in the riviera Maya and there are many resorts which offer great deals!! For example on june I went to Aventura Spa palace with my couple, we had a great time there. They have a promotion bonus, 1500 usd bonus credit which you can use in the resort. also I was able to go to the other Palace Resorts properties without additional charge. I went to Cozumel palace and Dived. was a awesone vacation!!! I cant wait to go back!!
