Good place to stay in mexico for a few days?

me and a couple of friends guys/girls wanna find a nice place where the girls can chill on the nice beautiful sandy beach while the boys go out and surf. whats a good place to be and some good hotels to rest at? and any tips bout the crooked cops over there

Mayan Riviera. The East side is better than the west what with the softer sand and the bluer waters.

Click the link below to check out Sayulita, just 30 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport.  It's a nice small village with pretty good surf.

I don't think you'll run into any crooked cops in Sayulita.

Depends on what region you're looking for but I really enjoy Puerto Nueva.  It's a little lobster village in Baja near Rosarito and Ensenada. Great surfing and cabin style hotels.  In general if you're not doing anything wrong the cops leave you alone. I've been plenty and have never had a problem like the horror stories you hear.
