  1. Gandolfi is the AMAZING! We ate there 3 times! They have reasonably priced food and it's really fresh and delicious. They make the most exquisite Cullen's Skink soup, it's a smoked whitefish soup and it's heavenly. They also give you good free bread! The Gravidlox is also really, really good. Everything is just really fresh and homemade, good solid food at a decent price (for Glasgow anyway). There are two restaurants, one is Gandolfi Fish which is a bit fancier, and the other one is Cafe Gandlofi, where I ate, and it's more like a cafe/pub type place. I'm pretty sure it's in or near the Merchant City, but I gave you the link to the website so you can map it yourself. I'm telling you this place is fab and not to be missed! http://www.cafegandolfi.com/#

  2. I used to eat at the Ubiquitous Chip I highly recommend it!

  3. fish and CHIPSS!

  4. I would recommend La Tasca in Renfield Street. The food is amazing (especially the garlic mushrooms and ribs!) Really nicely done up inside and superb service with value for money too. Hope you go and give it a try as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
